How Tenure Weighting Works

Tenure % acts as a weighting multiplier in the bonus distribution formula:

Bonus = (BaseBonus × TenureWeight) / Σ(BaseBonus × TenureWeight) × Pool

A 12+ month employee (45%) receives proportionally more than a 3–6 month employee (20%) with the same hours performance.

Incentive Program Policy

To qualify for a bonus, the team must achieve specific performance goals set for the period (month, quarter, or year). Team performance is measured against these targets at the end of each period. Bonuses are awarded only if the total achieved rate for the period is at least equal to the configured trigger percentage. No bonuses will be awarded if the total achieved rate falls below this threshold.

Eligibility Rules:

Members who leave the company during the period are not eligible for bonuses.
Paid Time Off (PTO) for sick leave, annual leave, and continuing education (CE) is included in total hours worked.
Unpaid PTO is not included in total hours worked.
Minimum of 3 months tenure required to participate.

Performance Threshold:
The performance threshold is established at the beginning of each year and remains fixed throughout the year. This provides clear and consistent targets for the team, ensuring that goals reflect continuous improvements in performance without being adjusted upward for each period.

Set Completion Trigger % — The minimum completion rate required before any bonuses are distributed.

Set Incentive Budget — The total pool available. Adjusted pool = Budget × Goal Completion Rate.
Set Hours Eligibility Tiers — Defines what % of base bonus each employee earns based on hours worked vs. required.
Set Tenure Weights — Must total 100%. Longer-tenured employees receive a higher proportional share.
